Microprocessor Melting Point Apparatus

Automatic Ramp Rate Heating. The unit consists of in-built Motorized stirrer with variable speed control, glare free background illuminator and cylindrical silicon oil bath. The silicon oil bath consists of a plain cylindrical container of toughened glass having capacity of about 200 ml. It is top covered with a Teflon cover fitted with special type of oil immersion heater, having three small holes for holding the capillaries and 6mm hole for Test tube Sample, for the determination of boiling point of any liquid. The apparatus can be used for determination of boiling points, Temp. effect on viscosity/ flow points and molecular weights by Rast’s method with suitable accessories.
